The Symposium offers a forum for policy analysis and discussion, high-quality training, peer networking, and resources dissemination for 600 to 700 attendees from across the country. Attendees typically include state and local Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) leaders and staff; local, state, and federal policy-makers and staff; researchers; other early care and education and school-age care professionals and advocates; and corporate and foundation representatives. NACCRRA holds three conferences: the National Policy Symposium featuring more than 55 sessions on the latest policy, research, and practice developments in child care and CCR&R, the Leadership and Management Institute featuring high-level training for board members, executives, and managers, and the Professional Development Institute providing information, resources, and tools to CCR&R front-line staff, including referral counselors, trainers, and technical assistance specialists.
