Who can use NACCRRA’s e-Learning Solution?
Only NACCRRA Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Voting Member(s) who have purchased NACCRRA’s e-Learning Solution and completed a fully executed contract can use the service. Agencies with a separate Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) sharing a database within a region/state must also be a NACCRRA Voting Member and maintain a license agreement.

A CCR&R is defined as an organization whose stated purpose includes delivering information-based services to families, child care providers and the community. Services provided by these agencies shall include, at a minimum, the following:

• Supporting all families through active operation of a referral and consumer education service;
• Supporting existing and prospective individuals and programs that care for and educate children through professional development and assistance to increase the availability, affordability and quality of child care;
• Supporting communities and states to create appropriate policies on family and children’s issues and to generate additional resources for the care, development and learning of all children; and
• Maintaining a high-quality, comprehensive database for the effective delivery of services.

Organizations that provide only some of the above services, but are part of a formal system of organizations that together provide all of the above services also meet the definition of a CCR&R. A formal system is defined as one in which organizations coordinate service delivery through written agreements or letters of understanding and ongoing communication and collaboration.
How do I purchase NACCRRA’s e-Learning Solution?
NACCRRA’s e-Learning Solution is a benefit available only to NACCRRA Voting Members and membership dues must be current. Once NACCRRA membership is established, visit www.naccrra.org/e-learning and selected the ‘Purchase’ option under the Pricing and Purchasing tab. Fill out the online form and NACCRRA will send you a contract. Fees can be submitted with the agreements or the agency can request an invoice. Once NACCRRA receives the contract and payment, the agency receives an email confirmation with instructions on how to implement the e-Learning Solution. The fully customized Training Solution will be available to the agency for implementation within 30 days.
My agency has never purchased the e-Learning Solution. What are my fees?
NACCRRA’s e-Learning Solution is $1,000 per year + $75 per hour for Meeting Solution usage. The contract term is one year from origination.
My agency has already purchased the e-Learning Solution. When can I expect to receive annual invoices?
The contract automatically renews unless the agency cancels the contract 30 days before the term expires. If the agency does not cancel, an invoice will be mailed to the person listed as the agency contact prior to the end of the term.

Fees for Meeting Solution usage ($75/hour) are invoiced on a monthly basis to the agency.
How do I learn how to use the e-Learning Solution?
NACCRRA staff provides free administrative training and ongoing free technical support for the Training Solution.

NACCRRA staff provides a free orientation and first-time user training for all facilitators and users of the Meeting Solution. Ongoing technical support for facilitators and users is free.

Facilitators require additional training before hosting trainings or meetings via the Meeting Solution. NACCRRA’s e-Learning staff trains facilitators to ensure that they will be able to use the system in sessions that typically last three hours. The sessions can include up to five facilitators for a cost of $300.
Can my CCR&R offer additional elements to the training?
Yes. Local agencies are encouraged to provide ‘value add’ services and products to NACCRRA-supplied on-demand, self-paced child care provider trainings. For example, a CCR&R can add on-site technical assistance or publications. The CCR&R sets the cost for this additional service or product and retains all revenue.

For example: 120-Hour CDA Training. The 120-Hour CDA Training costs a child care provider $199. A CCR&R adds three hours of on-site technical assistance and one hour of phone consultation for $125.

The final price to the child care provider is $324 for 120 hours of training, three hours of onsite TA and one hour of phone consultation. The CCR&R keeps all of the $125 value added service/product revenue and the typical $20 revenue share for the training for a total net revenue of $145.

Are Continuing Education Units (CEU) offered? What is the cost?
Yes, IACET (International Association for Continuing Education and Training) CEU’s are offered for every NACCRRA-developed child care provider course through our online training partner, Smart Horizons. There is no additional cost.
Are college credits offered? What is the cost?
College credit is offered for the 120-Hour CDA training and 45-Hour CDA Renewal at Nova Southeastern University at no additional cost. NACCRRA is working on getting other courses approved.

Child care professionals who complete the NACCRRA 120-Hour CDA training and earn their CDA National Credential can be awarded college level credit through Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School. The Fischler School currently transfers in the CDA National Credential for nine (9) credits toward the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a concentration in Child Development. Coursework completed through NACCRRA toward the 45-Hour CDA Renewal will be considered to be transferred to a maximum of three (3) credits.

Nova Southeastern University is the 6th largest independent, not-for-profit university in the U.S. NSU’s Fischler School of Education and Human Services is one of the largest schools of education in the country, serving nearly 15,000 students annually. The school is widely recognized as a pioneer and leader in using distance technology to provide cutting-edge curriculum to educators worldwide.
