NCLB Early Childhood Testimony
Linda Smith, NACCRRA's Executive Director, testified before the Oklahoma State Legislature in response to the death of a two year old in a licensed family child care home. Click here to read her testimony, including recommendations to strengthen parental notification requirements, to require pre-service and annual training for providers, complete background checks, instituting a toll-free safety hotline, as well as recommendations to require greater sharing of child safety violations.
