New NACCRRA Publication
NACCRRA has just released a new booklet for child care providers to guide them in helping children who have experienced a natural disaster, such as Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. This booklet takes a basic approach to preparing for emergency situations, as well as understanding the basic principles involved in nurturing young children during stressful times. White House Announcements
- 9.15.05 - The President revealed his relief proposal for people and communities affected by Hurricane Katrina. Included among his recommendations are: Flexible Assistance Accounts for Hurricane victims which could be used for work supports, including child care.
